Hello, my name is JT and I am 5 years old.
I am a Hero because I am a blood donor.
Patty got a phone call asking if I could go in and donate blood at NorthStar VETS.
So we got to drive in the car...
I had my blood tested before I could donate to make sure everything was OK.
Then they shaved some fur off my neck and I laid on the table and donated blood.
Afterwards I got lots of biscuits. 
And I was a good boy and made everyone proud.
Then we drove home and I took a nap.
So I am a Hero, and I think all dogs (and especially greyhounds) should try to be Heros and donate blood.
At the least, have your person take you to be tested to see if you can be donor.
You never know when another dog might need you...
