Rocky is an adorable hound mix who was described by the folks in a shelter in NC where he had only hours left, as a "sweetheart of a dog" who they called a lab/beagle mix.  Rocky was found with a seriously damaged eye which was removed as the vets determined that he was in pain. He was also heartworm positive for which he has been successfully treated.  Rocky is about 4 to 5 years old and happy to be with people and other dogs.  Rocky was in our Prison Foster Program and is now in a foster home.
