Reno was recently relinquished by a boken-hearted adopter who loved her but Reno was not good with their cat. She is in a foster home and ready for her new family.

Reno is a little cutie!  She's friendly with all the people she's met, she's calm with new visitors to the house, and she has gotten along very well with children- her foster home has a 5 and 8 year old and she's successfully been around kiddos as young as 2. She's gotten along perfectly with another greyhound in the house and she'd make a great addition to an existing greyhound pack.  She's getting the hang of stairs and runs right to her crate when it's time for her family to leave. She's very food motivated and is responding well to basic training commands paired with her favorite kibble. She loves to run in her fenced yard, and she'll bounce and try to get her foster sister to play.  She walks nicely on a leash, but plan for lots of squirrel-watching breaks on your walks. She is still very interested in cats and other small animals (including the other pets in her foster home like guinea pigs and rats) and is not easily distracted from them.

Pat C Reno is a stunning, little girl with a personality to match. She is happy, friendly and gives kisses but is not pushy. She seems quiet and curious about her new surroundings. The volunteers described her as a "sweety"--that about sums up her personality. She walks well on leash. She is 3 years old.
