Ruby is a gorgeous little girl who we are happy to have in our GFNJ family. She is a Wadi street dog who was rescued by the folks at Muscat Rescue in Oman. The folks at Muscat shared Ruby's story: " In September Ruby was homeless. The friendly street dog found her way to a building in Al Khuwair and luckily many of the inhabitants fell in love with her calm personality and took care of her by giving her regular food and water. Some of the residents, however, were not happy about her presence in the building and made comments about 'calling the police to remove her'. We (the shelter) were contacted before something awful happened to her. She was brought to the shelter on a Thursday and on Friday, her foster dad met her at the pound and was instantly won over by her friendliness so he took her home to foster." Another story of survival. Ruby is sweet, calm and walks nicely on leash. She did very well in her foster home and was amazing with house training. She does need some confidence building. Ruby is about 4 years old and cat tolerant with supervision. Due to the cost of travel, Ruby's adoption fee is $500.
