About Bear-Wadi

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: White and Tan

Bear is the cutest guy who is about a year old. He arrived recently from Oman along with his two travel companions--we are happy to have them all with GFNJ. Bear is a Wadi dog which is a street dog who travel with other dogs looking for food, shelter and protection. Bear was in a foster home in Oman with his flight patron to Dulles Airport. He described Bear as "very friendly, good with his other two dogs."  Bear is happy and relaxed. He is about 30 to 35 pounds, so a smallish-medium sized boy. If you are interested in adopting or fostering him, please contact Linda at 732-356-4370. The adoption fee for Bear is $500 to help defray the high cost of travel.

Bear is a lovable boy. He is great with other dogs, and good with cats.  He walks nicely on a leash .  He eats nicely with others and takes treats gently.  He enjoys chew toys.  Bear loves to snuggle and cuddle. He is house trained.  He is leary of strangers and will bark at them but back away--there is no aggression. He needs to be in the company of at least one other dog to give him some confidence.
