About Omy (Sato)

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Black

Omy is the cutest little guy who arrived with his travel companions from Puerto Rico and we are happy to welcome them all to your family. This friendly and happy boy is looking for a foster, or better yet, a permanent adoptive home. He walks nicely on leash. Omy weighs about 28 pounds.

He is a Sato dog which is a street or beach dog from Puerto Rico. The Sato refers to a variety of small to medium-sized stray dogs. Satos are similar in appearance to small Pointers or Terriers. These free-ranging dogs are known to make excellent family pets. Unlike other feral dogs, the Satos have a small territory, and many are always in contact with humans.

Omy was in a foster home in Puerto Rico along with another one of our newbies, Snow White.  Omy is about one year old and cat tolerant with supervision. In order to help to defray the cost of travel, the adoption fee for Omy is $500.
