Summer is the cutest little lady who we are happy to welcome into our GFNJ family from Puerto Rico along with her travel companions.  Summer is a Sato dog which is a street or beach dog from Puerto Rico. The Sato refers to a variety of small to medium-sized stray dogs. Satos are similar in appearance to small Pointers or Terriers. These free-ranging dogs are known to make excellent family pets. Unlike other feral dogs, the Satos have a small territory, and many are always in contact with humans.  

Summer is sweet and friendly. Her whole body wiggles when she is happy and she is getting attention. Just like the other Sato dogs, she will make a great pet in someone's home but will need TLC and some time to acclimate--the rewards will be great for anyone who fosters or adopts this beautiful girl.  She is about 8 months old and cat tolerant with supervision. She walks pretty well on leash. Her adoption fee is $500 to help to defray the cost of travel.
