Wizard was relinquished from a home where he was loved but the family could not provide him with the training and structure he needed.  We have been working with him to get him more acclimated to home life. He is in a great foster home with structure where he is doing quite well. The foster reported that Wizard definitely needs someone to play with. In a fenced yard, he will run after a ball. He needs exercise like this to help him to be calm in the house. He had some "bad puppy stuff" like jumping up and nibbling which will need to be corrected each time he does it, so that he learns proper behavior. The fosters reported that if you are firm with him, put him on a schedule and get him exercise he will be fine.  He is very very funny--a real character. He needs a fenced yard and at least one young dog to "horse around with."   From the fosters: "he is a real sweetheart (just a little fresh).  We are fans of Whizzy!" 
Wizard is 21 months old. Because he is playful, he would do best without a cat.

Wizard is a stunning, young boy. He is a baby at only about 16 months old, so he has a lot to learn but he seems ready to please. He is friendly, a big-time leaner and so sweet. He loves affection and looks longingly into your eyes. He is one of those "mooshie" boys who we love. He's not a real big boy--average size for a boy. Wizard walks pretty well on leash.
