Worth of Wings whose call name is "Wingo" is one handsome and lucky boy. He came to us from Alabama through the efforts of many volunteers who transported him from Alabama to Greyhound Friends. He came to us as a boy who broke his leg while racing and needed sanctuary with us.  We were happy to welcome him along with Deerfield Bill who also had a broken leg.  Our orthopedist took great care of Wingo and his break wasn't too bad and the leg only needed to be cast.  Wingo has been recuperating in the Prison Foster Program and is all healed and ready for his forever home.  Wingo is one sweet boy who was a hit with the inmates.  Wingo is 2 years old and cat workable in that he could be directed away from the cat.

There is nothing wrong with his eyes.  He arrived late at the kennel and it was dark already and the flash picked up the light in his eyes.

Prison Foster Program Update

"Wingo is a great dog.  He's always so happy and playful that its almost impossible to ignore him.  He doesn't whine or bark and always seems to have a smile on his face.  He is clean inside and has had no accidents.  I don't have a bad word to say about him.  He is a young, fun, happy, playful, affectionate and energetic dog.  He will make someone very happy.  Wingo is a keeper"

Foster Prison Inmate Update #2

"Wingo is truly a great dog.  He's always so happy and playful. He is very responsive to commands and although he just started training and doesn't know the simple commands yet, I'm sure he wil learn quickly.  Being a very affectionate dog, Wingo is always eager to please.  Wingo is very friendly with the other dogs in the cottage so I'm sure he'll be great with a family if there are other animal in the house.  I feel that anyone who adopts Wingo will be very happy with him, and they would, indeed, be lucky to have such a loving and fun dog as Wingo."
