Foster Update 1/30/11
Wilda Willa is just a racing name for this gentle beautiful girl. Willa is such a cute girl. She is settling into her new life as a retired racer. Willa lives with 7 other greyhounds and 2 Parrots. Willa is doing very well in our home. She loves her crate and toys that she recently discovered. Willa has done well in her crate while I am out running errands. She sleeps the entire night and lets me know when she needs to do her business. She has had no accidents. She is a joy to foster and is very loving. She just wants to please you and is such a happy girl. She is very smart and learned the steps in one day. How cute is that.
My hubby just loves her beautiful face with those gorgeous brown eyes. I have to say I agree ( who could resist). Won't you consider this beautiful girl as a first greyhound second or third, you will not be disappointed. My hubby and I are very impressed with this little girl, she is such a pleasure to take care of.
Foster Update February 18,2011
Willa is settling nicely as a retired racer. She is confident and not pushy. She is a true lady. She loves sitting out on our deck on those few Spring days we had recently. She continues to get along with the other 7 Grey's in our home as well as the 2 parrots. . She does well when I leave to run a few errands during the day. She is respectful when sharing a bed with another Grey, ( she is so easy going). She does great when you give her a bath and loves to have her neck scratched. She will tilt her head back when I am on the couch so I can give her a nice neck rub. She has not gotten into anything that we humans may have left out ( such as my hubby's shoes). Which of course can be tempting to any dog. She has met children in the neighborhood and did very well. Willa would be a great addition to a new adopter as a first greyhound or a second or third and even fourth greyhound. Add some SUNSHINE to your family just in time for Spring. You will not be disappointed.
