LOUIE THE LURCHER NEEDS A HOME

GFNJ has agreed to help find Louie a forever home by putting him up on our website as a courtesy.
Louie is a greyhound mix, sometimes called a lurcher, who was brought over from Ireland in the fall. Unfortunately, his prospective adopters got cold feet after Louie was already on the way and he has been in a foster home with several other dogs for about 6 months. He is about 45 lbs and is 1 1/2 to 2 years old. He is white with brown/grey patches, quite handsome. He is terribly well adjusted and happy, and likes to chase balls or anything that rolls or squeaks. He is submissive when challenged by his foster sibs and should go to a home with at least one other dog. He must go to a home with a fenced yard.
He is very lively and fun but will chill out when told to do so in fact he does everything, however reluctantly, he is told to do. He is basically a perfect dog, pulls on the leash for the first few minutes till he settles down. Hides treats, but loves other dogs, gets on with everyone. The word for him is enthusiastic, he just loves everything and everyone, couldn't be happier. Sleeps most of the day, gets up goes out and expects a game playing especially after dinner if he doesn't get walked. Loves anything that rolls or squeaks, preferably both in one toy like a ball he has.
If you think you might want to adopt Louie, please contact Elizabeth at erush_marsden@hotmail.com
He is currently living in a foster home in Verona, NJ.
Please do not contact GFNJ as we are not handling this adoption.
