LOST GREYHOUND IN MAYS LANDING

Jen Duffy's little black female greyhound "Flower" is lost.  Flower got out of Jen's yard at approximately 8:oo pm and we have had no sightings of her.  Jen's tele # is 609-457-4315.  Her address is 4546 Ocean Heights Ave, Mays Landing NJ  08330.  Below is the posting on Greytalk.  Please cross-post to your sites.

Jen Duffy and I have searched the area around her house. Ocean Heights Avenue in the Mays Landing area is a high traffic road where speeds are 50-60 mph. In the other direction is a vast expanse of wooded area. Anyone deciding to help, must be aware that you cannot park along Ocean Heights and it has a very small shoulder. Walking is a hazard and you need to be highly visible.

Flower got out through a gate that was left open, and Jen guessed that she was out since approximately 8:00 pm. Jen contacted me at 10:30, when she arrived home and noticed the gate open. Flower is a little spooky if she does not know you, so if she is sighted I recommend calling Jen to come for her. OR..if in a vehicle, open a door and call her...she loves rides and may just hop in.

As of this time, we have no idea in what direction she may have headed in, but hopefully she has decided to remain in the close vicinity of her home, but away from the road.

Please do not place any food in the area in hopes of luring her in. It only serves to keep her out there as she has a food source. Jen is going to need help getting flyers out and going door to door...as the area is spread out. Her adoption group (Greyhound Angels) has been notified as well as the police and newspaper. I will be contacting the local shelters on Friday.

September 4th is Jen's daughters birthday....let's all work together to bring her little "Flower" home!
