Join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at Wawayanda State Park in Hewitt, NJ for a hike on the many trails the park has to offer.
We meet in the first parking lot at the main entrance off Warwick Turnpike near the Ranger Station.
Walks are normally two to three hours and we typically walk in the woods for at least half the trip. We walk in almost all weather condition so dress yourself and your hound appropriately.

There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 10 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.

GFNJ Annual Board of Trustees Meeting

Annual Meeting of GFNJ's Board of Trustees. Guests are welcome to come and observe but may not participate during the official meeting. The capacity of the room is 50 people, so if guests intend to come, please let Linda Lyman know at 732-356-4370.
Refreshments will be served.
The Mary Jacobs Library is located on Route 518 (Washington St) in Rocky Hill, one third of a mile from the intersection of Routes 206 and 518. From Somerville, go south on Route 206 about 12 miles and turn left onto Route 518. The library is on the left side of Washington St. From Princeton, go north on Route 206 and turn right onto Route 518. From New Brunswick, proceed south about 10 miles on Route 27 and bear right onto Route 518 shortly after Kendall Park. Drive about three miles to Rocky Hill and turn right at the library.

Join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at Wawayanda State Park in Hewitt, NJ for a hike on the many trails the park has to offer.
We meet in the first parking lot at the main entrance off Warwick Turnpike near the Ranger Station.
Walks are normally two to three hours and we typically walk in the woods for at least half the trip. We walk in almost all weather condition so dress yourself and your hound appropriately.

GFNJ will once again participate in the annual Morristown St. Patrick's day parade held on Saturday, March 15th. We gather at 200 South Street, accross from Kings by 11:00am. The parade kicks off by noon and they close the streets so the need to get there by 11:00 is crucial.
Please decorate your dog with an "Irish theme" and our green Greyhound Friends coats will be at hand.

Greyhound Friends of NJ is sponsoring a fundraising bus trip to the Trump Taj Mahal Casino on Saturday, April 5th, 2008.
The charter bus will leave the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne
(Macy's parking lot) at 9:00AM and return at 8:30PM. The bus will also make a second pickup at 9:30am at the
southbound Cheesequake service area
(outside the McDonalds) on the Garden State Parkway
and return at 7:30pm.
Everyone will have 6 hours in AC with the bus leaving Atlantic City at 5:30pm.
COST: $40 with a $20 coin return and a $5 food voucher

Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)
Time: 9 am Sundays.

Calling all Warren County and Lehigh Valley greyhounds!!
Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at the Merrill Creek Reservoir for a walk around Merrill Creek!!
There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 10 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.
