Asbury Bark Holiday Pet Photos to Benefit GFNJ

For the fourth consecutive year, Asbury Bark, 611 Cookman Avenue, will be hosting “Pet Photos with Santa” benefiting two local rescue organizations. This year’s event will take place on two days, Saturday, November 29th and Saturday, December 13th, noon to 4:30pm.

A portion of proceeds from the November 29th event and the December 13th will benefit the building fund for the Monmouth County SPCA in Eatontown and the December 13th event will support Greyhound Friends of New Jersey.

A professional pet photographer will be on hand to take photos of pets. A special Holiday backdrop and props will be used for the photographic sessions. Photos can be taken with or without Santa, and owners can also be photographed along with their pets.

Reservations are requested and walk in appointments will also be accommodated whenever possible. Reservations can be made by calling 732-775-4801.

There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound. We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 10 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions. We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim. Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.

We'll be in the Center Court (outside H&M) from 12-3:00.

This mall is a GREYT place to Meet & Greet!
We get a warm welcome, great set-up with plenty of room, and lots of interested people to introduce our beautiful greys to!

Your presence at this Meet & Greet might help find a loving home for one of our greys.

Please join us this Valentine's Day weekend. If your dog is a bit timid, he/she might do well in this environment with lots of greyhound company.

Please stop by and help us Meet & Greet - the more dogs we have, the bigger impact we make, and the more fun it is for all of us! (Our little-bit-shy dogs seem to handle this location well also, since they are indoors with plenty of greyhound company)
