This walk is on hiatis until the nicer weather comes around (hopefully soon!)Calling all Warren County and Lehigh Valley greyhounds!!
Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at the Merrill Creek Reservoir for a walk around Merrill Creek!!
There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 10 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.

Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)
Time: 9 am Sundays.
GFNJ Annual Board of Trustees Meeting

Annual Meeting of GFNJ's Board of Trustees.
Guests are welcome to come and observe but may not participate during the official meeting. The capacity of the room is 50 people, so if guests intend to come, please let Linda Lyman know at 732-356-4370.
Refreshments will be served.
The Mary Jacobs Library is located on Route 518 (Washington St) in Rocky Hill, one third of a mile from the intersection of Routes 206 and 518. From Somerville, go south on Route 206 about 12 miles and turn left onto Route 518. The library is on the left side of Washington St. From Princeton, go north on Route 206 and turn right onto Route 518. From New Brunswick, proceed south about 10 miles on Route 27 and bear right onto Route 518 shortly after Kendall Park. Drive about three miles to Rocky Hill and turn right at the library.

Morristown St Patrick's Day Parade

MORRISTOWN ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
GFNJ will once again participate in the annual Morristown St. Patrick's Day parade held on Saturday, March 14th. We gather at 200 South Street, across from Kings by 11:00am. The parade kicks off by noon and they close the streets so the need to get there by 11:00 is crucial.
Please decorate your dog with an "Irish theme" and our green Greyhound Friends coats will be at hand.

GFNJ will be at Phillipsburg Mall again on March 28th from 12-3.
We will have a little Easter parade to celebrate the Easter Bunny coming to the mall that day. GFNJ dogs will sport fancy bonnets and hats and photographers will very likely be present. We should have some extra hats if your grey will cooperate!
This mall is a "dog friendly" mall where you can walk your dog any time, and has proven to be a great place for us to M&G with easy parking (park in the back), plenty of room for us to set up inside, and a warm welcome for our wonderful greyhounds.
We will be at the Center Court (near H&M). You won't miss us.
PLEASE COME OUT FOR A FEW HOURS AND GIVE US A HAND.
This mall is a GREYT place to Meet & Greet! We get a warm welcome, great set-up with plenty of room, and lots of interested people to introduce our beautiful greys to!

We will be collecting clean, usable and wearable clothing, shoes and accessories , also soft household items, i.e. bedding, curtains, tablecloths, and towels. Also welcome are hard toys and stuffed animals.
All donated items must be in tied plastic bags such as garbage or shopping bags.

Join GFNJ at the 91st Annual Ag-Field Day!
GFNJ will have greyhounds and adoption information at Cook College's annual Ag-Field Day.
Ag Field Day celebrates the unique connection between the land grant system of colleges and the communities they serve.
The GFNJ table will be located across the street from the farm on College Farm Road.
NOTE: Although this is a rain or shine event for Cook College, GFNJ will only attend if it is NOT raining at 9am.

Directions and Parking
From New Jersey Turnpike:
Exit #9 for Route 18 North to Route 1 South to COOK COLLEGE — College Farm Road. Follow signs for parking.
From Garden State Parkway South:
Exit #130 for Route 1 South to COOK COLLEGE — College Farm Road. Follow signs for parking.
From Garden State Parkway North:
To Exit #129 for New Jersey Turnpike. Take Turnpike South and follow directions listed above.
From Route 287:
To Route 1 South exit. Follow directions listed above.
College Farm Road will be closed from 10am-5pm. Cars will be diverted to park in the Bristol-Myers Squibb Parking lot off the Route 1 College Farm Road Exit.
A $3.00 per car donation to support Ag-Field Day will be collected at all parking lot entrances. Your continued support of this traditional day is greatly appreciated.
NOTE: You must have a pass to park on campus - the parking lots are a bit of a walk from the events - there is a shuttle, but please be aware that your dog may not be comfortable using it. If you plan to help at the GFNJ table, you need to get into the campus by 9:30. Please email Patty for a Vendor Pass to park on campus in a lot near our set-up.

Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)
Time: 9 am Sundays.
WEEKLY EVENT: Stroll Merrill Creek Reservoir

This walk is on hiatis until the nicer weather comes around (hopefully soon!)Calling all Warren County and Lehigh Valley greyhounds!!
Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at the Merrill Creek Reservoir for a walk around Merrill Creek!!
There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 10 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.
