Calling All Passaic County Greyhounds for the weekly Saturday Stroll starting at 9AM at Barbour Pond Park in Wayne. Organized by Lisa Hoffman Missygirl101@aol.com
All are invited to join. Please call Lisa at 973-942-3612 to confirm.
Each walker needs to bring plastic bags and is encouraged to water spray their dogs or have them wear a wet down coat or bandana. There is a water fountain.
DIRECTIONS
North of Wayne take the Newark Pompton Turnpike to Valley Road, Make a left onto Valley road and the first left onto Barbour Pond Road. Pass a nursery school and a baseball field on the left. Look for a small wood sign with the park name on it and bear left into the short road leading into the park. Meet at the end of the road in the parking lot with the kids playground. They make two rounds around the path and spend about an hour.
From the south take Rte. 23 north. Take valley road exit and once you cross the intersection of Hamburg Turnpike and Valley road look for that 1st left hand turn into Barbour Pond Road. Follow as above from there.

Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:

The Grapehound Wine Tour
The Grapehound Wine Tour is a celebration of what greyt
pets our greyhounds make. It is a celebration both for the
people and for the hounds.
This is an event even your dogs will enjoy! Sixteen Cayuga Wine Trail wineries are opening up their doors to the hounds...and their owners on Saturday July 22, 2006.
Each winery will provide a nice welcome and treats for the hounds and food pairings and wine for their human companions... At most wineries you can bring your dogs right inside with you!
All vendor fees and $5 from the Grapehound Wine Tour tickets go directly to greyhound adoption in New York through Greyhound Adoption of Greater Rochester and in Pennsylvania through Keystone Greyhounds (centered in the Harrisburg area).
On Sunday, July 23rd, greyhound owners are encouraged to participate in a walk to the falls at Taughannock Falls State Park starting at 9am.

Each walker needs to bring plastic bags and is encouraged to water spray their dogs or have them wear a wet down coat or bandana. There is a water fountain.
DIRECTIONS
North of Wayne take the Newark Pompton Turnpike to Valley Road, Make a left onto Valley road and the first left onto Barbour Pond Road. Pass a nursery school and a baseball field on the left. Look for a small wood sign with the park name on it and bear left into the short road leading into the park. Meet at the end of the road in the parking lot with the kids playground. They make two rounds around the path and spend about an hour.
From the south take Rte. 23 north. Take valley road exit and once you cross the intersection of Hamburg Turnpike and Valley road look for that 1st left hand turn into Barbour Pond Road. Follow as above from there.

Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at the Merrill Creek Reservoir for a walk around Merrill Creek!!
There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 9 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.

Calling all South Jersey greyhounds! Please join us every Sunday morning at the Estelle Manor section of Atlantic County Park. We meet at 9:00 in the first parking lot, and, depending on the weather, walk for about an hour. In the warmer months, make sure both you and the dogs are "wearing" insect protection, and don't forget those poop bags! Come for a leisurely walk and greyt conversation! Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)
Time: 9 am Sundays.

Calling all Warren County and Lehigh Valley greyhounds!!
Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at the Merrill Creek Reservoir for a walk around Merrill Creek!!
There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 9 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.
