MORRISTOWN ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
GFNJ will once again participate in the annual Morristown St. Patrick's Day parade held on Saturday, March 12th. We gather at 200 South Street, across from Kings by 11:00am. The parade kicks off by noon and they close the streets so the need to get there by 11:00 is crucial.
Please decorate your dog with an "Irish theme" and our green Greyhound Friends coats will be at hand.

Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)
Time: 9 am Sundays.

This won't happen at the mall or a local carnival, but it will happen at Edison's Annual Family Fun Day
The event, which takes on the air of a festival, is designed to bring families and Edison residents together for a day filled with fun, food, games and health information.
This year it will be held on Sunday, May 1st from 1 AM to 3 PM at the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center, 97 Sunfield Avenue in Raritan Center.
GFNJ will have a table at this event - we could use help from volunteers and their greys to show off how wonderful greyhounds are!!!
