8th Annual L'Oreal "Because Your Dog Is Worth It Day"

Join over 5000 humans and 2300 dogs at a fun dog friendly event in Cranbury NJ. Events include: NJ State Puppy Limbo Championship, Costume Contest, Dock Diving, hay Maze race, Human bone stacking contest, multiple breed races, dog high jump, dog wash. life size dog-o-poly board game, over 10 dog swimming pools. Over 100 pet industry manufacturers and vendors as well as 60 non profit/rescues in attendance. The "most fun a dog and their owner can have in one day"! Free doggie bag to all pre-registered attendees. Food, music, and kids games.

GFNJ had a table at this event last year and it was lots of fun and good attendance. Dogs MUST be “other dog” friendly, as this is a day for dogs and their owners, so many other breeds of dogs are present — both large and small.

Adult admission is $10. All proceeds collected by the event organizers go to benefit the Susan G Koman Race for the Cure.

Please join us again for Victorian Days in Belvidere, NJ on Saturday, September 10th.

We will meet & greet with the dogs from the hours of 10 to 4:00.

Walk your dogs around the town square where vehicle traffic is blocked off for pedestrians & horse-drawn carriages only, or more timid or older dogs might want to just greet passers-by from the small front yard of Nancy's house, a short block off the town green.

This is a very stress-free day for humans and dogs, since you aren't glued to your dog or standing in one spot. We are all happy to take turns watching each other's dogs to give everyone an opportunity to shop the vendors (no dogs in the vendor area on the green please) or participate in an activity, and the dogs can get off leash on the porch or in the shady fenced back yard which gives our dogs the breaks they need also (and a chance to play with each other if you'd like).

This event gives our dogs some terrific exposure, since they draw quite a bit of attention in their gorgeous replica Victorian hats (we have them available for males and females).

Last year the Master of Ceremonies drew attention to our beautiful dogs, and you may have seen the picture in the Express Times of Nancy Bowden and her dog with the horse-drawn carriage that was in the next day's paper.

Sample the food, the antique car show is spectacular, and the ambiance of the entire day just can't be beat. Hope to see you there. Belvidere Victorian Days Info
