Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)

Morristown St Patrick's Day Parade

3/12/15 Due to the weather forecast of 100% rain and 50 degrees, GFNJ has unhappily made the decision NOT to walk in the Morristown St Patricks Day parade this year. We thank the parade committee for their understanding in this matter and look forward to next year.
MORRISTOWN ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARADE
GFNJ will once again participate in the annual Morristown St. Patrick's Day parade held on Saturday, March 14th. We gather at 200 South Street, across from Kings by 11:00am. The parade kicks off by noon and they close the streets so the need to get there by 11:00 is crucial (no later then 11:30!).
Please decorate your dog with an "Irish theme" and our green Greyhound Friends coats will be at hand.

Directions to the parade lot:
From Route 80
Take Route 287 South
Go about three miles to Madison Avenue exit
At end of ramp turn right onto Madison Avenue
Go 100” to traffic light, bear right onto South Street
Go past Municipal Building (on right) to first traffic light/Elm Street
Turn right onto Elm Street
Turn onto the first street on the right, Franklin Street
Go 300 ‘ and turn right into the parade lot
Parking is available in various municipal lots, on street parking (not available on the parade route) and near the end of the parade route by Morristown High School. It is recommended that wherever possible, parade participants carpool to the parade site.

Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
