Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.

Come join us for Warwick's famous annual Applefest in Warwick, NY.
APPLEST 2015 in beautiful Warwick, NY is a craft fair attended by over 30,000 people from all over the tri-state area.
It's hard to believe that summer is coming to an end. A wonderful summer for GFNJ with so many adoptions dues in part to all our great volunteers that will give up their time to come out with their hounds and show folks the joys of being loved by a greyhound.
Last year we broke the record as far as donations were concerned and so many people were exposed to greyhounds, most for the first time. Applefest is a rare opportunity for us - the sheer number of people we reach is staggering and we are the only group with dogs so we are not sharing the spotlight! If you find it hard to attend meet and greets, please consider this event. Last year we had some new attendees who could not get over how many people we connect with in one day. They all said it was worth the long drive and traffic.
We need volunteers with and without dogs.
Your dog must be good in a crowd, friendly and pretty tolerant!

Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
