Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.

This walk is on hiatis Calling all Warren County and Lehigh Valley greyhounds!!
Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at the Merrill Creek Reservoir for a walk around Merrill Creek!!
There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 10 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.

Asbury Bark, 611 Cookman Avenue, will be hosting “Pet Photos with Santa” benefiting GFNJ on Saturday, December 12th from Noon to 4pm.
A professional pet photographer will be on hand to take photos of pets. A special Holiday backdrop and props will be used for the photographic sessions. Photos can be taken with or without Santa, and owners can also be photographed along with their pets.

GFNJ will be at Phillipsburg Mall for the last time this year on SUNDAY, December 20th from 11-1:00 outside JC Penney.
This mall is a "dog friendly" mall where you can walk your dog any time, and has proven to be a great place for us to M&G, plenty of room for us to set up inside, and a warm welcome for our wonderful greyhounds. Please have the rescue spirit and come out and give us a hand.
P.S. Santa has sent us a Precision SnooZZy Sleeper 49 x 30! (see link below). Every volunteer who attends on 12/20 and makes a donation into the GFNJ jar, gets to throw their name into the hat to bring home the SnooZZy Sleeper at the end of the M&G! This faux fur cushy mat is perfect to bring to M&G, for a crate, back of the car, or an easy-to-wash extra pad on top of an existing bed. This drawing is a holiday treat for volunteers only, not a raffle!

GFNJ will be at Phillipsburg Mall on SATURDAY, January 23rd from 11-2:00 at the front entrance #5 which is near Sears.
This mall is a "dog friendly" mall where you can walk your dog any time, and has proven to be a great place for us to M&G, plenty of room for us to set up inside, and a warm welcome for our wonderful greyhounds.
Please have the rescue spirit and come out and give us a hand.
P.S. We still have the Precision SnooZZy Sleeper 49 x 30! (see link below) that Santa left for us, since our last M&G was cancelled because of a snow storm.
Every volunteer who attends on 1/23 and makes a donation into the GFNJ jar, gets to throw their name into the hat to bring home the SnooZZy Sleeper at the end of the M&G!

This walk is on hiatis Calling all Warren County and Lehigh Valley greyhounds!!
Come and join us every Sunday morning at 9 AM at the Merrill Creek Reservoir for a walk around Merrill Creek!!
There are lots of trails to choose from, and, GFNJ volunteer, Nancy Barnett will provide us with maps of the area, so there are different trails available for any e-bodied greyhound.
We will be meeting in the Parking Lot at the Main Entrance at 10 AM every Sunday morning. Please log on to the Merrill Creek website for directions.
We will be walking through woods and fields and there are also several watering holes for the hounds to drink and swim.
Please bring water for you and your hound and dress you and your hound appropriately. Bug spray is also recommended for this time of year.

Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
