Adoption Pending

This charming and Oh, so good boy whose racing name is Winta Sea Luna and who is now called "Apollo" was recently returned through absolutely no fault of his own.  This sweet boy was adopted 4 years ago but family circumstances changed and he had to go.  He is 7 years old and was described by the former adopter as a "perfect dog who is good with other dogs, kids and cats".  He has a corn on his foot which we are getting treated and hopefully he will be able to enjoy his walks again.

Foster Update 8/5/2012:

Winta Sea Luna who goes by the name of Apollo, is one of the nicest, calmest, gentlest dogs I’ve ever fostered.    The day he walked into my home, he wasn’t nervous or scared at his new situation;  rather, he found the fluffiest, softest bed and immediately made himself at home.  He’s living with 4 other greyhounds and enjoys their company.  He would enjoy a fenced yard with soft grass, as sometimes it is difficult for him to walk on hard surfaces.  He has corns on his rear feet which are being treated and he walks MUCH better now, but soft surfaces are a must for this boy.  He enjoys mealtime, and eats like a gentleman, always the last to finish.  Apollo is a wonderful boy, and he needs to find his forever home before his foster Mom gets too attached J  Won’t you consider Apollo as your new BFF?

Winta Lunda Sea whose kennel call name is "Steve" is a gorgeous boy who is outgoing, happy and glad to see people. He was described by the kennel folks as a "real love". This 3 year old boy is cat tolerant with supervision.
