Chunky is not at all chunky but she sure is a sweet, sweet brood mama. This beautiful lady just turned 8 years old in April. We are happy to welcome her to our Greyhound Friends family where we know that she will find her forever home. She is just beautiful, in great shape and friendly. She is not good with cats though.
She is much cuter than her pictures as they were taken on one of those 95 degree days and we were all hot.
Foster Update 6/29/2009
Chunky has been with us for a couple of months now, and she has become a big part of our family. She has an extremely easygoing personality and has fit in beautifully. We have taken her camping with our other greyhounds and she loved it. She is very friendly to anyone who comes up to her and greets everyone with enthusiasm and excitement. Chunky gets along well with our other dogs and loves children. She is a very curious dog and loves to explore whenever we let her out in the yard or take her on walks with us. She has an endearing personality which makes it easy to fall in love with her. Though she is an older dog, you would never know it by her behavior. She runs and plays with our other dogs as if she is a puppy. Her outgoing personality will make it easy for her to fit into any type of family. Anyone lucky enough to adopt Chunky will gain a wonderful addition to their family!
Foster Update 5/12/2009:
Chunky has been with us for a few weeks now and has proven to be a wonderful addition to our family. She is a very happy dog and gets along well with our other dogs and is very easygoing and friendly. She is an extremely affectionate dog and likes nothing better than to be pettend and hugged. Chunky does very well with our four children as well. She is extremely playful with all of us, but especially with the other dogs.
She has a very youthful attitude and does not seem to let her eight years slow her down at all. Chunky is very well trained and has not had a single accident since coming to our home. She enjoys running around in our fenced-in yard and it is a pleasure to walk her on the leash. I believe she ould make a wonderful addition to any family. She does well with other dogs around her, but I believe she would do just as well on her own.
All Chunky seems to require is regular meals, regular walks and/or a good run around the yard, and lots of love and affection. If you can provide these things, then Chunky is the ideal dog for you!
