Cookie Duster who is called "Muffin" was recently relinquished through no fault of her own and a changing family situation after being in the home for 3 years. Muffin is 8 years old. She is in a foster home and adjusting just great.
Foster Update 12/1/2012
Muffin has been with us for a few months now and is doing great! She plays with toys as well as the other dogs. They all romp around the yard together. She's had no accidents and sits for her meals. She's so quiet at times, you'd hardly know she's there. I let the dogs out frequently, but it if she needs to "go" she will let you know with a gentle whimper. She will do well in a multiple dog home as well as be the only dog. Won't you consider this gentle lady?
Foster Update 9/17/2012
Muffin has been with us for about a month now and is the sweetest little
girl. She's not destructive in any way, she has no interest in children's
toys, but loves to sleep in my daughters room. She gets along great with the
other dogs in the house and occasionally will romp around with our Doberman.
She whines if she needs to go out and if you forget what time you are
supposed to feed her, she will remind you that it's dinner time with a
gentle 'roo'. She is perfect for single pet or multiple pet homes!!!
Following is a report from her foster Mom 8/11/2012:
"Muffin" is a nice, happy, sweet little girl who has only been with us for a
few days, but is a wonderful "guest". She sits on command and likes to swim
in the pool- yes she does doggie paddle around the pool. She has good house
manners and sleeps through the night. We are currently crating her when we
leave the house and doesn't seem to mind. I cut her nails today and she
didn't mind that either. She is living with 2 dogs and gets along fine with
them and likes big and small children as well. Please consider adopting this
lovely little girl, you'll be glad you did!

Cookie Duster whose call name at the track was "Muffin" is the cutest little girl. She is very sweet, easy to handle and walks nicely on leash--actually she was described by our volunteers as "great on leash". She is calm, friendly and just a nice, nice girl. She is 5 years old and looking for her forever home. Cat workable but would do best without a cat.
