Adoption Pending
2 year-old Rogue Vanquish is so warm and wiggly it's hard to believe he's had a rough couple of months.  Complications from a broken leg required the amputation of his back, right leg.  After only a few weeks he is agile, enjoys playing with toys, loves going for walks and exploring the back yard.  Rogue has no restrictions, is extremely sweet and loving, cat tolerant with supervision, and is ready for a loving home. Call name Tre.

Foster Update

Tre is an incredibly adorable, lovable, cuddly young greyhound. His "handicap" does not slow him down a bit! He loves to be near you and would be happiest in a home where he is the center of attention. He gets along with the other dogs but because he wants ALL the attention a home with no other dogs would probably suit Tre best. He is a greyhound like any other, he can go up and down stairs, jump in and out of a car, and jump on the couch for serious cuddle time if allowed, snuggling super close to you and putting his head over you and sighing as if to say "you're all I need to be happy".  He gets very excited when I come home, spinning in circles and gently grasping me to come sit and pet him. He has perfect house manners, with the occasional "theft" of a shoe or a sock that looks fun to play with. He walks ok on a leash but is still in the learning phase; he may get nervous at new or loud sounds but is comfortable traveling and with anything is easily correctable; he just wants to please you. Because of his missing leg he is a constant source of curiosity when he goes for a walk or visit and it is amazing the amount of love and pets he gets from the people he meets. If you are looking for a serious love-bug with an ultra-sweet personality then Tre is the perfect dog for you.  (he has beautiful big brown eyes - they just look blue in his pictures)
