Update 12/12/2009:
Tony's Ez Rider "Rider" was in a family and returned as it just was not the right match for him. He is in a foster home and doing great--settled in and gets along great with the other dogs in the house. He came into his foster home, found a bed and is just "made himself to home"--what a nice boy he is.

Tony's Ez Rider is a stunning boy with a great personality to match. He has unusal markings which has some outlining of his fawn patches--very striking. He is calm and friendly with an outgoing personality. This sweet boy is 3 years old. Cat workable in that he could be corrected and directed away from the cat although he would be best WITHOUT a cat.
Foster Update 9/25/2009
Tony's EZ Rider (Ryder) has been an absolute joy to have in our home from day one. He gets along nicely with our two other greys. He has not had an accident in the house, walks nicely on the lead and loves his stuffies (toys). After breakfast, he will go to the toy basket and pull out the stuffies one by one, squeak them, throw them up in the air and just play, play and play until naptime. He still has some "sliding" issues with our hardwood floors but I feel that he will overcome this with time. He does feel more comfortable on the area rugs but will come to me when I'm in the kitchen when I call him but he'll walk slowly so he doesn't slip n' slide.
We have two children, ages 8 and 5 and Ryder is responding well to them.
I just adore him and his markings make him even more unique!! He has so much love to give and he follows me around the house all day looking for kisses and lovins. When he looks at me with his big eyes, I just melt and you will too......won't you give this nice, well-behaved young boy his forever home?
Update on Ryder 10/19/2009: Ryder continues to do well with us. He still has not had an accident in the house. We have left him alone with our two other greys on several occasions while grocery shopping or running errands and he has had free roam of the house and there have been no problems. Only the kids rooms have been gated as he can't tell the difference yet between their stuffed animals and his stuffies!! He has not been crated at all by me so I don't think he will be receptive to the crate. He adores playtime and belly rubs as well as his nightly rub downs. He still follows me everywhere so he has become attached as all greys usually do. He walks nicely on the lead and I have been working with him on "heel" and "stay". He loves to come with me to bus stop to see the kids come off the bus in the afternoon and thoroughly enjoys all the lovins from the adults and many kids that get off the bus. He is definately an "attention grabber" type of greyhound. To me, and I'm sure whoever adopts Ryder, you will fall in love with this hound. He melts my heart and will melt yours too!! We are working on counter surfing though, I'm not sure where he picked up this habit from!!
