Xaida is an adorable puppy who is about 7 months old when she arrived with one of her sisters, X (two other sisters will arrive next week).  They were found in a sealed box on the side of the road in Portugal. Four of the puppies were adopted in Portugal and GFNJ was asked to take the 4 sisters.  The veterinarian believes that they are part Estrela and part Galga as they are taller and leaner than an Estrela Mountain Dog.  Whatever they are, they certainly are adorable. and we are happy to be able to help these four girls.  Xaida is sweet, friendly but a little on the timid side at first.  It is reported that she, like her siblings, is good with adults, children and dogs.  She also ignored the cat during cat testing. Right now she weighs about 30 to 35 pounds.
