Adoption Pending St. John or "Johnny" as we call him is one lucky and just adorable boy. He is not quite a full greyhound but he sure looks like one. He is little at about only 40some pounds. iF you want/need a lap dog--little Johnny is the one for you.
Johnny's short story: A wonderful couple were leaving their church, St. John Neumann's Church in the Medford/Mt. Laurel area, when what they thought was a deer walked toward them in the dark. It was little Johnny, in a tatered and badly frayed collar with no identification. The couple could not leave this little boy to fend for himself. They took him home where he was greeted by young grandchildren and a cat. He was a little anxious but his tail never stopped wagging and he was quick to give kisses. A check for a microchip, with police, shelters, etc. gave no clue to Johnny's identity. The couple called GFNJ and we are happy to help this little boy who looks so much like a greyhound but smaller. He will go to the vet for a thorough exam, etc. and he is in a foster home enjoying life. Johnny appears to be young at maybe 2 years old or so. He is thin but appears in good health.
