Run This Way whose name is "Roger" was recently returned along with Hotterthanhades due to family issues and through no fault of either of the two dogs.  Roger is a real love--on the timid side at first but really trying to adjust and learning to relax. Our hearts just went out to this boy. He is in a foster home with other greys and loves their company and is doing well with them.  Roger turned 7 years old in April and he's cat tolerant.  Won't you consider adding this boy to your greyhound family?

Foster Update 6/26/2012

He's doing fine.    He's very laid back, so easy to have around.  Listens very well, no counter surfing, no accidents, loves to walk.  Quietly plays with toys,  no throwing them around just carries them around.  No prey drive at all.  Squirrels can pass right in front of him.  Doesn't even look at the cat.  Gets along fine with the other dogs, no food agressions.  Still timid but more in a wary way.  The sound of cars approaching spook him a little, even in the house.  Just enough to widen his eyes and prick his ears but you can tell he's nervous about it.  All in all, he's just easy to have around, when he does get excited he roos.  Great dog for anyone looking for a loyal quiet companion dog.

Run This Way with the great call name of "Robertson" is such a handsome and sweet boy!! He is a little reserved at first but loves to be outside with us at the kennel. He was one of our favorites.  He might do best with another greyhound and in fact Run This Way and Kiowa Product Law lived together with one of the track workers.  He just turned 4 in April.  Cat tolerant with supervision.
