A month after being adopted, Lancer was returned by no fault of his own and
is back in his former foster home. His easy, respectful manner made him welcome
by his foster parents and their three greys. He's a smart, playful two and a
half year old who loves long walks and walks well on his leash. During a recent
stroll, he confidently followed his three housemates into a stream without
hesitation while his foster mom tried not to get pulled in. Lancer enjoys
chasing a ball and is learning to retrieve it. He'd probably love playing with
children. He's a real character who chews ice cubes and carries the other dogs'
bowls around. Lancer is a loveable, charming greyhound who's housebroken, eats
well and ready for a forever home.
He's cat tolerant with supervision.

TNJ Lancer is a gorgeous boy with the best personality. He is a real lover boy who is sweet and friendly. He is calm and doesn't seem to have a care in the world. He is just another nice, nice greyhound!! This great boy is 2 years old. Cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update 4/17/2010:
"Lance" has been with us just a few days and already learning the house rules. I stopped using barriers to confine him near us when we watch TV, he knows not to leave the room. It's hard to believe he's housebroken so fast but he hasn't made one mistake and goes to the door when he wants to go out. This boy learns fast. Lance knows his name and comes when he's called. He can go up stairs; we'll keep working on the coming down part. I took him to Philadelphia yesterday where we appeared on Fox Fursday. Although the trucks, buses and cars on the busy street concerned him, he handled himself well with the lights, cameras, slippery floors and strangers around him on the set. Lance fit in well with our three greys, one male and two females. You'd love this sweet, beautiful boy. He has a great personality and hardly ever stops wagging his tail.
