Jawa Buddy is a gorgeous lover boy. He loves to hug and is just a happy fellow. He is sweet and friendly and just wants to be loved by someone. He is another nice, nice boy.
Buddy is 4 years old. Buddy was adopted and his family of parents and many kids just loved him and he was a great dog. However, it turns out that he is not good with cats. He was reluctantly returned and is looking for another loving home.
Buddy is doing very well here! He's a quiet boy, who *loves* to be loved and is very eager to please. He has a playful spirit and has taken to the toys already, but they don't stand a chance against him -- only tough toys for this boy! We've also seen his "bratty" (but very cute) side -- he flips his food bowl over every morning after he's done to let us know he's dissatisfied that it's all gone. Just too funny :) He's definitely entertaining and a pleasure to have around. Buddy gets along well with our 2 greys and has had very good house manners from the start.
He walks nicely on a leash and is especially happy when he meets the neighborhood kids on his walks. This sweet boy is looking for a family who can
shower him with love and attention (and treats, of course). It shouldn't be a tough search - anyone who meets him will be smitten immediately :)
Foster Update 6/9/2010
Buddy is still doing great. He's really settled in and is quite the
love-bug. He is nearly literally a "velcro-dog" - it seems like he always has
to be in physical contact with you in some way or another, whether it's stuck to
your legs while you're walking, or his head on your foot as he lays in the
kitchen while you're cooking. What a sweetie! He's gotten over his meal-time
antics of flipping his bowl to express his discontent that his food is done, but
it was so cute we actually miss it. But not to worry, there's no lack of
cuteness with this boy :) He loves to play with his toys, flipping and chasing
them around the room until he settles down for a nice chew. Most of the time
though, he's just looking for snuggles. This boy would stand for hours as long
as he's getting hugs and kisses and scratches from you; it's really what he
loves most (well, that and food). He's well-mannered in the house, and very
responsive - all it takes is a quick "eh-eh" to correct him. We've had no
accidents at all in the house, and by now he's a pro at navigating the stairs as
well. He's even been great on a leash from day one. Overall, Buddy is a sweet,
mellow boy who is just looking for someone to love and snuggle him. He
especially loves children :) Just take a look at this boy's pictures - his
