Playful and very happy, Amber Hope is 5 years-old and cat tolerant with supervision. She is very friendly and an all around nice girl. She was cockroaching (lounging on her back) in her kennel run--what an adaptable, sweet girl.

Foster Update:

When I picked Amber Hope up at the kennel to take her home to foster, frankly I thought I had a little tornado on my hands, she was so full of energy! But then she nicely jumped into the back of the car and was a perfect passenger for the drive home. I guess she was just anxious to officially start her retirement! Amber has settled in beautifully in only a few days. It's obvious she doesn't care a bit about pecking order with the other dogs in the house (male & female greys & a female husky mix), and is just content to be one of the gang. Amber is a delightful mix of friendly and playful as a puppy, but with an adult brain - what a great combination! She is also a terrific snoozer - she could win a greyhound snoozing contest, and you know how stiff that competition would be! Amber was sound asleep on the back porch while we used a big gasoline-powered plate compressor on the patio stones right below her! Amber is petite, friendly, extremely loveable, not pushy, smart and beautiful. This foster mother wishes she had room for one more "permanent" greyhound...
