Jabberin Jamie is in our Prison Foster Program after being returned. He is doing very well.
Jamie's Prison Inmate Handler has provided the following update 11/2011:
"Jamie is a super affectionate, young greyhound looking for a good place to call home. He is very well mannered and housebroken and enjoys nothing more than cuddling up next to you to be pet. He is well behaved on a leash and also understands simple commands such as sit, stay, and lay down. Jamie would make a wonderful addition to anyhome or family."
Jabberin Jamie - Foster Update 02/20/12
Jamie has strikingly handsome markings with a sweet face and cute personality. He quickly settled into our home and learned the rules. With just a few corrections he walks along nicely by your side. He loves his walks and going out in the back yard with us.Jamie is very eager to please and is so affectionate.
He is housebroken and does stairs perfectly. Jamie gets along with the other greys, too. We are encouraging him to eat slower, (with some success already). Jamie even sits for his dinner!
Jabberin Jamie is a very handsome boy with the most attractive brindle swirls on his face and he has the cutest "flop forward" ears. His sweet appearance makes him very endearing. He is a little boy who is calm, friendly and walks nicely on leash. He is curious about his surroundings and enjoyed checking out all of the new sights and smells. Jamie is 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
March 10, 2011-
Jamie is a cute, laid back and nice, happy guy!
Jamie has been in my Townhouse for almost 2 weeks and is doing great! He shares his space with 3 cats, 2 adults and 2 other greyhounds-
(1 male, 1 female) I can't tell you enough good things about Jamie and how sweet he is with all of us, even the cats! Jamie is a lover, not a fighter and will easily share his space or curl up with my other male greyhound. He loves to be where you are and is a dog that will show you affection (in a non-pushy, non- needy way) He gives kisses , loves cuddles and put his head on your lap at any given time. He LOVES his food and treats. We make sure not to leave food or anything "interesting" around where he can reach it. The paws on the counter was easily corrected within days. Smart Boy!
Outside, he walks gentle and perfect on our leash walks in the development. He is curious of his surroundings, meeting people and meeting other dogs-sniffing nose to nose. Jamie also enjoyed running in the fenced in baseball field with his squeaky toys. He fetches them AND brings them back to you!
If you are away from home working often, Jamie would probably enjoy another dog or cat companion to spend his time with during the day.
Can you give Jamie a loving new home?
