Bella Jade is a gorgeous girl who is outgoing and friendly. She's playful but not overbearing. She has the most beautiful sable brindle coloration--very unusual and striking. This little girl made a very positive impression on all of the volunteers who pampered her today.  Bella Jade turned 4 in October. She'sgood with people but no cats, please
Foster Update 11/10/2011:
Jade is a real lady, and just like a lady she deserves satin.  Why because that is what her fur feels like.  My boy is soft but she is even softer.   She has settled in and is housebroken.  She knows some basic commands alread--what a smart girl.
Foster Update  11/13/2011:
Jade has mastered the walk and now “walks nice” on a leash.  In other word she walks like the perfect greyhound lady that she is.  Jade is a calm confident little lady.  She would make a perfect first grey or an only.  She does not need the company of other greys to be comfortable in her surroundings.  Jade likes other dogs, her best play bud is the Old English Sheep dog that lives in our neighborhood.  She is not bothered by the Pug who constantly wants to sniff her.  In other words:   Jade is one perfect pet!
Foster Update 11/30/2011
Bella Jade's photos do not do her justice in the "cuteness" department.   This little girl has the biggest eyes that will look at you as she cocks her head, flips her ears in the most endearing way, and tries to understand what you want of her.  She is super friendly, and would be a great dog for someone looking for a best pal who will go everywhere and do everything with you.  She's been with me as a foster for almost a week, and she's learning house manners quickly, and gets along well with my 3 greyhounds.  She takes to her crate well during the day while I am at work, and she enjoys that the other greys in the house lay in the sunny kitchen with her and keep her company.  Like most greys, she enjoys mealtime.  She's a bit too interested in small, moving things, so would probably do best in a household without cats or small animals.  She's walking better on the leash, and is so anxious to please.  She will stand next to you forever if you just pet her, rub her ears or scratch her tummy.   This little lady has it ALL in one cute, loving package!
