Little LG Rollinthunder "Thunder" or "Lucy" was returned to her foster home as she really needs to be with another greyhound.  Other than being lonesome, she was a great girl and is happy back in her foster home but looking for her permanent home with other greys.  If you are that family or would like to speak to her foster mom, just get in touch with Linda at 732-356-4370

LG Rollinthunder "Thunder" who the foster calls "Lucy" is our very special girl who was heartworm positive when we were asked to take her. We are so glad that we were able to take her, get her life-saving treatment and have a nurturing foster home.   Dr. Madden, who treated Thunder said she should be tested again in 6 months for heartworm and she should be negative by that time--GFNJ would pay for this subsequent testing.  Thunder sailed through the heartoworm treatments, arduous as they were.  Everybody at the vet's office fell in love with her.  Thunder is 2 years old and a little girl.  We do not believe that she is great with cats although she is living with small dogs.

Foster Update 8/9/2012

Thunder is a real treasure.  In the weeks that she has been with me, she has become part of the family.  She has become a self-confident, loving, little girl who is small dog safe. She also enjoys the 3 children who live next door--11 and 9 years old.
