Alvarado was recently relinquished due to changes in the family living situaion. He is in a foster home with other greys and cats and is adjusting well. Won't you consider this handsome and sweet 3 year old boy.
Foster Update 4/27/2013
Alvarado is a sweet three-year-old boy who enjoys giving and getting affection. While we are at work, he has done beautifully in his crate and has had no accidents in the house. Alvarado loves to play with my two Greyhounds in our fenced yard and walks perfectly on a leash. He is stunningly handsome, so he attracts lots of attention when we walk him - he has been welcoming to pettings from strangers and has been a wonderful Greyhound ambassador.
Alvarado has been great with my dog-friendly children, ages 7 and 11. He will do well with children who have respect for a dog's space. While he has so far exhibited apprehension about my cats, he has also shown some curiosity about them. On the few occasions when he has attempted to approach or sniff a cat, he is easily redirected.
Alvarado is eager to please and is a fast learner. During his first week with us, he has settled in with the "pack" and is letting his warm and bright personality shine through. Alvarado will be a loving best friend to his future adopter.

KB's Alvarado is a very sweet, big boy who is stunning looking. He walks nicely on leash. He's playful but not over bearing. He's friendly and affectionate and eager to please. He was described by the folks in Florida as "very sweet". Alvarado turned 3 years old in September and he is cat workable to tolerant with supervision.
