About George "Mt Momoney"
- Status: Adopted!
- Species: Dog
- Color: Black
Mt Momoney whose call name is "George" spent the entire Fall 2012 academic semester as a cherished friend and valued "teaching animal" at Becker College in Leicester, Massachusetts in their Animal Studies program. More information about this new partnership with Becker will be added to our website.
George's students report: "Courageous, confident and cool as a cucumber, this good-looking guy (often referred to as "Gorgeous George," "George Clooney," "Georgie Porgie" or "Beefcake") certainly is a handsome hunk, but he has a sweet, sensitive side that makes him a real heart-throb. He is skilled in everything he does, sweet with everyone he meets and lives each moment of his life with charisma. George really loves being part of a team - he enjoyed the challenge of clicker training and agility, taking on every task with the most thoughtful, inquisitive expression. George takes learning very seriously and would be a great candidate for more clicker training classes! George likes to play with other dogs who recognize his greatness - competitive males aren't his cup of tea, but he gets along nicely with deferential males and, of course, he loves the ladies! George would be happy to have a home that appreciates his many charms and allows him to stay physically and mentally active."
Our assessment of George is very similar--he is one handsome boy who loves attention and interaction. He's very friendly and will make a great companion. He's 2 years old and cat workable in that he was curious about the cat but could be distracted and directed away from the cat.
