About Boc's Wheredhego

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Fawn

Boc's Wheredhego was recently relinuished after less than a monh in his adoped home.  He is back with his foster family and doing quite well.  The adoptive home just was not the best match for him or vice versa.

Boc's Wheredhego is a stunning boy who is sweet and very friendly.  He's a happy boy and a real tail wagger. Wheredhego has beautiful soft eyes.  He's another one of those "mooshy" boys that we have come to love--he likes to give a full body lean.  He' s 4 years old and workable with the cats but would best without a cat.f
Foster Update 2/17/2014
"Boc's Wheredhego (we are calling him Buck for now) has been a wonderful addition to our family. He has been with us for 3 weeks, and is settling in beautifully. He learned how to navigate the doggie door and the set of 4 stairs that lead to the back yard within 3 hours of being at our house. He is completely house trained and knows to let himself outside whenever the need arises. He tried to get on my daughter's bed once or twice in his first days with us, but hasn't even looked at a couch or bed since we discouraged that. He seems to be very teachable and just wants to make us happy. We have two young children (4 and 6), and they absolutely love him. Overall, he is great with the kids - very sweet, loves their hugs and is very happy when they sit on the floor and pet and kiss him. He does seem to forget his size every now and then, and when he gets excited (for example, when we return home after being away for a while and we're all crowded into the small entryway to our home) his exuberance can be a bit much for the little ones. Ideally, he might be best for a family with children aged 8 or older - but having said that, our kids love him to bits! Buck's gorgeous brown doe eyes and huge floppy ears melt our hearts every day. He is a stunningly beautiful, sweet, lovable guy who is adjusting really well to life in a home. He fits in very well with our alpha female Greyhound and my mother's Lab who visits from time to time. Buck is a real leaner and a lover - just a big, beautiful boy who wants to love you and for you to love him. He would be a wonderful addition to any pack!"
