Bart's Magicmerlin is a very handsome boy who is quiet, unassuming and looking for direction. He seems quietly inquisitive and gentle. He lived in Florida with 4 cats and small children--he did fine with the cats but the small children were not good with him. He needs a supportive, loving home where he will be given guidance. He is 4 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.
Foster Update:
We’ve had Bart’s Magic Merlin (or just Merlin) for some time now but it’s taken me a while to really know this lovely boy. At first he was sad, and didn’t want to eat and then he was just very polite, like very shy house guest. He didn’t steal food, surf counters or try to eat my slippers – not like a greyhound at all. I was a bit worried.
Now though, he’s relaxed, happy, eating well, coming for treats and my slippers are on the lawn – all is well.
Merlin loves to go for a walk and jumps into the car without hesitation. He joins in the fun with our other dogs but is not aggressive with toys or food. He also cuddles nicely on the couch with me.
He’s been returned once, but we love him and know he deserves a forever home, please take him home.
