About Annie

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Color: Dark Brindle

Liddleannestephn whose call name is "Annie" is an adorable little girl.  She's slightly reserved at first but warms up and looks to people around her for direction with the cutest expression.  She walks nicely on leash.  She's calm and has a really sweet disposition.  Annie is one of the 7 siblings that we welcomed.  She is 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision.  She is a very dark brindle girl who at times looks black--just adorable!!
Foster Update 8 2 2014
Liddleannestephn, or Annie has made quite the adjustment after arriving into our home about a week ago. She has settled into our routine and has become one of our pack quite easily. She adores anyone's company and loves being around other dogs as well. She loves giving little kisses and is amazingly gentle in doing so. She gets along with my cats just fine. She is playful and sweet and LOVES squeaky toys. I did not have to teach her to walk beautifully on a leash as she has done so since day one and seems content with only short walks. She has had no accidents in the house and will do the "pee-pee pace" if she needs to go out. Mostly she loves to sleep and be snuggled and petted. She is one of those types of dogs that will follow you anywhere you go because she wants to be with you. She corrects easily and knows her name and understands "lie down", although sometimes she decides to sit first. She mastered the stairs into the house with no problems. She is eating wonderfully but is is not very food motivated. She shows no signs of food aggression and will let you take her bowl/toy/treat from her. She will take treats from your hands very gently. On most nights, she will come up to you and put her head right in your lap for a petting and will most likely fall asleep touching you or leaning on you somehow. She has also become the roaching queen. I really feel she would do well in a home with other dogs as she LOVES company so much, but if you are home most of the day, she should do fine.
