Mia Jo is an absolutely adorable little girl who is just plain sweet. She's calm, friendly and chitters and wags her tail when she is happy--like I said, sweet and adorable. She walks great on leash. Mia Jo is 3 years old and cat tolerant with supervision. It was pouring out, so her pictures do not do her justice.

At only 52 lbs, Mia Jo is everything you could hope for in a little
peanut of a dog. Not only is she a gorgeous, shiny, soft-furred black
girl, she has a personality to match. She is so super sweet, friendly
and has good manners. Mia Jo has settled into home life quiet easily.
It took her a few days to get to the point where she decided she likes
to snuggle. But now that she has decided she likes snuggling, she
searches for me to snuggle with her. From day one, she has been extra
good about letting us know she has to go out to do her business. She
loves the company of my two dogs and will not compete with them for
food or toys. And she's been terrific with my two cats. Never going
after them at all. She might sniff them, but she respects them and
they do not stimulate her. It's like she knows they are part of the
family. Mia Jo will do a happy dance when she sees you get the leash
out for a walk. She loves going on walks with my two dogs and is
perfect on a leash, never pulling. She has been a good girl and has
been sleeping completely through the night. She’s an affectionate dog
who loves to be pet and lie on a dog bed in the same room as the
family or other pets.
She has a good appetite and shows no food aggression and she knows how
to gently take treats from your hands and patiently waits for another
one. She hasn’t show any inclination of counter surfing, but I am
always in the kitchen with her when she is in there. She will lie on
the kitchen floor and watch me while I prepare dinner or if I'm
baking. She's a smart dog and corrects easily. She's funny too,
because she's been trying to roach, but she's one of those dogs who
rolls completely over so she never quite stops in the middle. She has
a habit of staring soulfully at you when you talk, almost like she
understands what you are saying. She is a pure delight to foster and
will bring much happiness, warmth and love to any home. You won't be
sorry if you decide to adopt this wonderful dog and add her to your
pack.
