Calling All Passaic and Bergen County Greyhounds for the weekly Sunday Greyhound Walk.
Every Sunday, weather permitting, there's an informal Greyhound Walk around Van Saun Park in Paramus. The longest distance we walk is just under 2 miles, but it's easy to bail out at anytime if you or your pooch is pooped. And speaking of pooped... here's the details:
Bring: Something to pick up the poop.
Place: Van Saun Park Paramus. Parking Lot #5 (The Pony Rides)
Time: 9 am Sundays.

Human and Animal Blood Donation, NorthStar Vets

Help celebrate the human-animal bond by joining NorthStar VETS, in collaboration with
the American Red Cross, for our first
human/animal blood drive.
The blood drive will be held from 10am until 4pm.

Human's and pet's can donate together or separately. *Human blood donations will go to the American Red Cross. *Animal blood screenings will go to NorthStar VETS Blood Donor Program.
General Eligibility For Dogs and Cats
1. Healthy and easy to work with
2. Current on vaccines
3. Between ages of 1y - 8y
4. Dogs must weigh a min of 50lbs; Cats 12lbs
5. Not on any medications
6. Cats must be indoor only
*we regret that Japanese breed dogs, such as Shiba Inu's and Akita's, are not eligible to donate nor are dogs who have been bred in the past.
Refreshments and treats will be provided to both humans and animals.
All dogs and cats blood screening is at no charge!
